Ter leering ende vermaeck
De wetenschappers achter Improbable Research die zich ten doel stellen:
"to make people laugh, then make them think. We also hope to spur people's curiosity, and to raise the question: How do you decide what's important and what's not, and what's real and what's not — in science and everywhere else?"
hebben, naast het tijdschrift The Annals of Improbable Research en hun eigen award, de zgn.Ig Nobel Prizes, sinds kort ook een eigen videokanaal in YouTube. Hierin presenteren zij filmpjes van drie minuten waarin op Monty-Python- achtige wijze wetenschap en humor zijn vervlochten.
